Saturday’s Roundup

News you might lose in the shuffle

- If you don’t know who Alan Grayson is, or why the Obama should hire his ad agency pronto, look no further.

-If Obama’s only concern at this point is he’s “too successful”

- Despite the fact that record numbers of people are driving less (11 billion miles in March alone), largely due to gas prices, the insurance industry has been pushing for 7-13 percent rate increases. Go figure.

- In encouraging news it seems that the Republican Right may be suffering a bit of a backlash; 50% of conservatives now think religion should stay out of politics.

- Undecided on who to vote for? It may all be in your head.

- Fay has made landfall in Florida for the fourth time, killing at least 10 people. Oye.

- Does anyone seriously still believe that Ron Fournier, the AP’s Washington bureau chief and director of their presidential news wire, is anything but a Republican party-line hack?

- Remember America, you’re “too lazy and unwilling to work”. Those jobs you can’t find? That light/empty feeling in your wallet? It’s all because you aren’t willing to do the hard work. Don’t take my word for it, just listen to John McCain.
